About Precision Pools

30 years of craftsmanship. Built on precision.

Ben has worked with his hands in the trade since 1996, and has been building swimming pools since 2015. He is on site and involved from the first conversation to handover.

Ben's story

From the garden up.

Ben began his landscaping apprenticeship in 1996, at 16. By 21 he was running his own landscaping business, building gardens, paving, walls and outdoor spaces for Sydney homes.

In 2015 he moved into swimming pool construction, and 2026 marks 30 years of hands-on trade experience. Today Precision Pools builds custom concrete pools and spas, and the business is deliberately small, so every project has Ben's direct attention.

That landscaping background shapes every pool he builds. A pool isn't treated as something dropped into a garden: levels, drainage, paving, steps and planting are thought through together, so the pool sits naturally between the house and the landscape around it.

Philosophy

Quality you can see, and quality you can't.

The parts of a pool that matter most are often hidden once it's filled: the steel, the shell, the plumbing and the levels. They are given the same care as the waterline and the coping that everyone sees.

“I'm not running hundreds of pools at once. I take on a small number of projects so I can be on site, keep my clients in the loop and get every detail right. And when we leave, the site is cleaner than we found it.”

How Ben works

The same principles on every project, whatever its size.

Complex projects

Difficult access, sloping sites and specialist elements are planned for early, with engineers and other trades involved before work starts.

Working with architects

Drawings and design intent are followed closely. Questions are raised early rather than settled on site.

Open communication

Clear explanations, realistic timelines and regular updates. You always know where your project is up to.

One point of contact

Ben oversees every stage himself and is your direct contact from first meeting to handover.

The whole outdoor space

With a landscaping background, Ben considers how the pool meets the paving, lawn, planting and house, not only the pool itself.

A clean, respectful site

Ben is particular about leaving no mess behind, right down to sweeping out the garage or side access he's used.
